FOTD: Concert Series - "Blackend Red"

I'm back! Hi, everyone :) Okay so this is gonna be the first of a concert series that I'm gonna do. The Kylie Minogue concert is just around the corner (Oct. 4th) and I really want to look my best! So I'm gonna try out a few looks, post the ones that I like on here, so that when the day comes I'll already have a "face" plan.

And, boy, do I need a plan when it comes to some things.

Okay heres the backstory: The last concert i went to, John Legend, I was soooo scatterbrained that day, that i really ended up looking like crap! With the fact that I was soo excited to see him perform, add that the time I got out of work i had only a small time frame from when the concert was gonna start to when we had to leave the house. Also with the fact that I was gonna be close to the stage, so YES i had a crap makeup of the day, and that made me a little self-conscious. (like he was paying any attention to ME anyway... rofl)

So here's the first look:

FOTD: "Purple Pirate"

Long time no see.
I know I've been away for a while but im back now. its just life, it gets in the way sometimes. Here's a look that I wore today. Today i wore my urban outfitters "Pirates Arrr Cool" tee. The pirtate and the writings are purple, hence the purple look i went for today.
In the midst of all the makeup i stumbled upon a great combo: My lavendar anna sui lipstick with a benefits lipgloss called "kiss you". The colors looked soo similar in the tube that i decided to see how it looked on, and BAM.... magic! Oh and false lashes ARE optional.... Hope u like

A new favorite! I mixed Nars "Harlow" and ontop of that i put Mac "Fashion Scoop" cremesheen. the result was just Too cute!______
NOTD: a concoction of 2 polishes. I think i will call it "green-ito".... hehe. I think it came out pretty good.

Haulage: Benefit, Smashbox, OPI, Anna Sui + Mac

Here are a few additional things i managed to pick up this week. Most is from the Sephora sale. The polish is from a OPI manufacturer that my aunt & I happened stumbled upon. And since my aunt is a working makeup artist we were able to get a real good discount on the stuff. And had i not only had cash on me, i would of got a TON more stuff. Cause opi is my fav polish brand. I was just happy that i got the "rapid dry" for a real good price. It usually retails for over $10 bucks... yikes! i know. I also shopped at All Cosmetic Wholesale. Youtube guru's Michele1218 & Mel for Makeup both swears by it, so i decided to get some things from there. I got the Smashbox gel liner, Mac lipgelee, and the Anna Sui lipstick. yes, i decided to jump on the lavendar l/s bandwagon. I'm not sure if its for me, yet, but hey i only paid $2.99 for it.
